She has a unique feeling for open spaces, beautiful panoramas, and magnificent animals .   She is able to capture not only the detail of how they look, but the spirit of the subjects she paints. She has found that transparent water color is a wonderful medium for her.   It’s soft translucent qualities allow skin tones, changing skies, and red rocks to be expressed in a unique way.   She also paints with acrylic and finds that it performs well when she wants vivid color and dramatic impact.   She is not a afraid to paint on a very large scale and finds that acrylic is the right medium for it.
