The Crow were a nomadic people. As hunters they would move the village following the Buffalo herd and other game, which in turn followed the changing seasons. The band moves in a procession with the women carrying children and travoises loaded with the tipi and items used in everyday life. Even with the amount of work the moves were a joyful event.
