An Arapaho brave poises to thrust the lance into the lead bull. There will be a feast tonight and many days to come. For all plains Indians the Buffalo was life. Beside food, all of the animal was used as shelter, clothing and tools. The hunt was, nevertheless, dangerous for man or beast.
